Rent my cottage
by the week in Dartmouth, England, the warmest (lemons and Palm trees!) and most verdant part
of the British Isles. In the historic town centre with all its restaurants, pubs and shops, 150 yards from the quay and inner harbor down the stepped Horn Hill, 35 yards
from the Cherub Inn
(the oldest building (1380) in the town) and only a minute's walk from the little supermarket. Click here
for an area map. The postcode is TQ6 9RA if you want to find your own map. Dartmouth is an unspoilt, small town, deep-set in the field-quilted Devon countryside; a deep water harbour in a beautiful estuary. Visit the castles, swim from secluded coves, sun bathe on sandy beaches, investigate rock pools and caves, or rent a boat to fish and explore. You will be astounded at the abundance and variety of the flora and fauna on local walks. Dartmouth is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as being a Conservation Area. There is an excellent local golf course, and there are riding stables nearby.
